A story from USA about Pashminas.....

MIDDLEBURG, Va. (PRWEB) June 29, 2018
In a joint effort to provide some comfort to patients undergoing cancer treatment at local hospitals, lou lou boutiques, a Northern VA based retailer of women’s accessories, donated 600 pashmina scarves to Howard County Hospital and INOVA Fairfax Hospital.
This donation was the culmination of the Pashminas for Patients project, which donated one pashmina scarf for every one sold by the company in the month of May. lou lou offered its customers the opportunity to contribute to the cause by purchasing a pashmina scarf and the option of writing a note of support.
“Our goal was to get to 500 scarves, and we were blown away by the participation and enthusiasm of our customers. We ended up at 600 at the end of the month,” said lou lou owner, Tara Wegdam. “We were very excited to find a unique way to give some kind of comfort to people going through a really hard time, even if it’s something as small as a pashmina scarf. The Pashmina scarves come in different colors and can be styled in many ways to keep patients warm while brightening their day”. “Many of our customers wrote a personal note at the time of purchase to a patient they did not know. It was hearth warming to see their support”, according to Wegdam.
